This presentation will discuss how harmonics are generated in an electrical system and the issues that arise because of them. It will also discuss how to identify sources of harmonics along with the key methods to canceling and mitigating their effects. Filters will be discussed for instrumentation, protection and control. Power Quality Analyzers and Fast Fourier Transformation for voltage and current harmonics will also be reviewed.
