Texas State Requirements

PDH's Required:
15 Units
Renewal Period:
Annual by March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31
Course Pre-approval:
The State Board does not pre-approve courses. You must select a course activity that meets your State Board criteria.
Sponsor Pre-approval:
The State Board does not pre-approve continuing education sponsors.
Course Applicability:
At least one PDH must be relevant to professional ethics, roles and responsibilities of professional engineering, or review of the Texas Engineering Practice Act and board rules. The remaining PDH's must be relevant to the profession of engineering and may include technical, ethical or managerial content.
Online PDH's:
There are no limitations on the number of PDH’s earned online.
PDH Deferral:
Up to 14 PDH may be carried over into the next renewal period.
