Kentucky State Requirements

PDH's Required:
30 Units
Renewal Period:
The reporting period is the two calendar years (Jan. 1 - Dec. 31) prior to the June 30 license renewal as follows: Odd years for engineers with last names starting with one of the letters A through K. Even years for engineers with last names starting with one of the letters L through Z.
Course Pre-approval:
The State Board does not pre-approve courses. You must select a course activity that meets your State Board criteria.
Sponsor Pre-approval:
The State Board does not pre-approve continuing education sponsors.
Course Applicability:
The course must be relevant to the profession of engineering and may include technical, ethical or managerial content.
Online PDH's:
There are no limitations on the number of PDH's earned online.
PDH Deferral:
Up to 15 PDH may be carried over into the next renewal period.
