Kansas State Requirements

PDH's Required:
30 Units
Renewal Period:
Biennial by April 30 as follows: Even years for engineers with last names starting with one of the letters A through L. Odd years for engineers with last names starting with one of the letters M through Z
Course Pre-approval:
The State Board does not pre-approve courses. You must select a course activity that meets your State Board criteria.
Sponsor Pre-approval:
The State Board does not pre-approve continuing education sponsors.
Course Applicability:
At least 24 PDH's must address health, safety, property, and welfare. The remaining PDH's must be relevant to the profession of engineering and may include technical, ethical or managerial content.
Online PDH's:
There are no limitations on the number of PDH's earned online.
PDH Deferral:
Up to 15 PDH may be carried over into the next renewal period.
