Delaware State Requirements
PDH's Required:
24 Units
Renewal Period:
Biennially by June 30 of even years
Course Pre-approval:
The State Board does not pre-approve courses. You must select a course activity that meets your State Board criteria.
Sponsor Pre-approval:
The State Board does not pre-approve continuing education sponsors.
Course Applicability:
The course must be relevant to the profession of engineering and may include technical, ethical or managerial content as follows:
- Between 2 to 6 PDH must relate to engineering ethics or professional conduct.
- Up to 9 PDH can relate to project management or business skills.
- All other PDH must be technical in nature and relevant to the licencee's field of practice.
- For dual licencees in engineering and surveying, up to 12 PDH may be related to the surveying practice.
Online PDH's:
There are no limitations on the number of PDHs earned online.
PDH Deferral:
No PDH may be carried over into the next renewal period.
