He completed his undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering at the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan.
Mr. Ali is a licensed professional engineer with over 35 years of experience marked by extensive experience in water, wastewater, stormwater, buildings, and roads. His work encompasses design, modelling, and asset management assignments.
He worked with various esteemed consulting firms and municipalities in both Canada and Pakistan. At present, Mr. Ali is employed with the City of Toronto as an engineer, where his responsibilities include water modelling.
