Foad Alvandi, P.E.
Mr. Foad Alvandi is an online PDH course provider of continuing education for CEDengineering.com.Mr. Alvandi holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Maryland. He is a NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installer, Certified Energy Manager (CEM) with AEE, Certified GeoExchange Designer, and Certified in Secondary Mathematics Education from State of Maryland.
Mr. Alvandi is a seasoned engineer with over 39 years of experience in the electrical and solar power industries. He has over 30 years of teaching experience, he is an adjunct professor with Johns Hopkins University and presently teaches “Introduction to Electrical Power Systems 525.451” once a year. He is also an adjunct online instructor for several electrical engineering courses with Capitol Technology University.
He presently works as a senior solar design engineer for Standard Solar in Maryland for which he designs ground mount and roof top solar systems in the multi-megawatt.
