Monitoring Well Design and Installation
This online engineering PDH course provides the minimum elements for consideration in the design, installation, and documentation of monitoring well placement (and other geotechnical activities) at projects known or suspected to contain chemically hazardous, toxic, and/or radioactive waste.
This course provides geotechnical and chemical guidelines for planning, installing, and reporting of soil and/or bedrock borings, monitoring wells, and other chemical and geochemical devices at hazardous, toxic, and radioactive waste (HTRW) sites. These guidelines are necessary for the acquisition of environmentally representative geotechnical data and samples, using conservative methods documented in a comprehensive manner.
This 5 PDH online course is applicable to civil, chemical, environmental or geotechnical engineers, as well as design and construction personnel involved with the design and installation of monitoring wells at hazardous, toxic and radioactive waste sites.
