Assessing Your Reliability Programs
This online engineering PDH course provides an introduction to the steps needed to evaluate the effectiveness of your reliability programs. This course takes the student through the issues that are important to providing reliable assets and how to evaluate those issues in your plant or enterprise. This course shows the student the various levels at which an accurate assessment is made.
Assessment begins with a basic understanding of reliability requirements. It continues with determination if needed programs are present. It concludes with a determination if individuals are behaving in a manner needed to make the programs effective. The results of the assessment are stated in terms of the "gap" between what is needed and what currently exists.
This 2 PDH online course is applicable to engineers who are not currently experts in assessing reliability programs. It provides a high level overview for those who are recent engineering graduates as well as engineers whose duties have been expanded to include the assessment of reliability programs.
